Installers on signs101 found the HX30000 matte demanding: one described it as "thick — like bullet-proof thick, stiff, rigid" and said "it takes a lot of heat to do anything with it", another that it "wants to lift on every curve or angle, not straight away, but a day-a week later".

3M
Go 3M if you are in North America, want the film your installer has the most hours on, and would rather not be the shop's first job in a given brand — the depth of track record is the practical argument here.
HEXIS
Go Hexis if you are in Europe, where it is a normal quote and stocked locally, or if your fitter already knows its behaviour. Installers describe a stiffer film wanting more heat, so an experienced pair of hands matters more than usual.
