Which to pick
3M
Go 3M 2080 if you want the range with the widest finish menu and the film your installer has almost certainly handled before — useful when the car has awkward panels and you want their hours on your side.
ORACAL
Go ORACAL 970RA if your shop already runs the range, or you like that it's built to wrap without a separate laminate step. Installers note it wants heat to conform, so it's a film to leave to someone who does this daily.

- Is ORACAL 970RA the same thing as ORACAL 651?
- No. There are many ORACAL series and they target different jobs — 970RA is the cast line positioned for wrapping vehicles, while the sign vinyls are for lettering and graphics. Check the series number, not just the ORACAL name.
- Which lasts longer, 3M 2080 or ORACAL 970RA?
